  • How to do a quick search or go directly to a song by typing its name in the browser's address bar rating stars

As of pulpTunes 1.2.1 you can search for songs directly through the browser's address bar by typing an address like http://yourip:15000/search/searchstring , replacing searchstring with any word or phrase.

If you combine this possibility with Firefox's bookmark keyword feature, you can just type in the address bar something like "pulptunes searchstring".

To do this, go to the page http://yourip:15000/search/%s
This will return a blank page. Bookmark this page. Then locate the just created bookmark under the Bookmarks menu, right-click on it, and select Properties. In the Keyword field enter "pulptunes" and then save.
