Hi, it's not possible right now I'm afraid. I'll have to set up some list or something to keep track of these requests ;)

Hi, is there any way to increase the number of files that show per page. The default 20 or so is just too little for me. I have over 700 pages.

thank goodness for the search function, but i'd still like to be able to have more songs display per page. Otherwise this software is amazing!

ok thanks for the feedback. It seems then there's nothing we can do at the moment. But now I'm a bit more informed about these browsers for when I try to support them in the future :)

Cheers

Hi Alejandro- thanks for the super fast reply!

So I enabled the mp3 download feature (and it works just fine between computers), but I can't actually try it on the Wii. Not for any super complicated reason, but because there's no right-click on Opera on the Wii! At least, not that I can find. I checked in the Opera operations guide and searched google, but no luck. Stupid  :P

Is there anything else I could test for you?

Oh, and I wouldn't hold my breath for HTML5 on Opera on the Wii, but who knows.

Yeah that'd be nice. I can see how flash is a show stopper here. I'm working on HTML5 support to supersede Flash, but that's really a bleeding-edge technology, that I'm not sure the Wii's browser would support either... What happens when you try to actually download a song? does wii play it immediately? If that's the case that's something I could fallback into for all non-desktop browsers. Mind though that you need to explicitly enable the download permission to test this.

Cheers,
Alejandro

First, pulpTunes looks great. I had no trouble getting it up and running in a few minutes, and its web interface is a pleasure; way better than any other freeware/shareware/donationware software I've tried.

My question is, has anyone been able to stream music to their Wii? From the Wii's built-in browser I've been able to see my iTunes playlists, and can click the songs within, but they won't actually play. I simply get a message about updating Flash, which isn't going to happen because I'm stuck with whatever Nintendo/Opera have provided (likely some kind of stripped down Flash implementation).

I should say I'm using an older version of pulpTunes (1.2) because that's the latest my Mac will run. Has anyone else had any luck streaming to the Wii? Does this work with newer versions of pulpTunes, eg: 1.3? If not, are there any plans? Or is this an insurmountable problem due to the Wii's Flash support? For what it's worth, I couldn't get my PS3 to stream either... I just want to get some music to the TV :P

I didn't have any luck. My PS3's internet browser shows the pulpTunes web interface, but it won't ever load up a song list, eg: I can click an iTunes playlist in the sidebar, but no song list appears on the main part of the pulpTunes page   :(

I should say I'm using an older version of pulpTunes (1.2.0) because that's the latest version my Mac will run. Maybe the more recent version (1.3.x) will give you better luck, I don't know.

I can't reproduce the problem. Can you please send me your iTunes XML file to alpeb at pulptunes.com, pointing to an example of a faulty record?

Thanks,
Alejandro
