"Song could not be loaded" with port forwarding
« on: June 17, 2009, 11:06:16 PM »

I have PulpTunes setup on a Windows PC, with the port set to 15000.  My router configuration points request to port 21, to my PC with PulpTunes and port 15000.  I can load the page fine, and browse my music from outside my home network.  However no songs will play, and I get the error "Song could not be loaded, continuing with next one..."

When accessed directly by port 15000, it works fine.  Any ideas?

Here is a snippet from the log:

That's odd. Could you PM me your IP so I can take a look?

Thanks.

1.2 beta did allow the xml file to show up properly as is was not showing up in the previous release. I was just getting a white screen both locally and remotely.

I am still having the issue where every song  I attempt to play triggers the ""Song could not be loaded" error message.

Figured it out actually. Settings were pointing to a recent, but not current xml library file. Repointed to current file and all is good.

Thanks!

I am also having this problem. It doesn't even work locally on the computer and the XML file is the one and only one I've got.

Is there a bug in the application?

No bug that I know of. So you see the songs but can't play them and you get the "Song could not be loaded, continuing with next one.." message?

Exactly. The songs work fine from within iTunes and Plex. Also, the very same library works well on my MacBook Pro but not on my Mac mini, which is where I want to ue pulpTunes.
