How did you find pulpTunes?
« on: June 11, 2009, 11:38:56 AM »

Hi,

I'm seeing in our Google Analytics stats some nice traffic since yesterday from a "direct" source (i.e. people typing the address directly in the browser). So it's gotta be some mention in a podcast or some other offline source. Can you guys and gals let me know how you found pulpTunes?  :)

Thanks

Recently I was looking for an application that would give me some control over playing my iTunes library at home from at work which might give me as much control over my music as possible.
Then I pretty much stumbled accross pulptunes.
It giving me the ability to rate my songs from at work was just part of what I'm looking for. (still hoping for playcount/last played support for my smart playlists ;))
But it has a lot of potential already! and I can't wait to see how it'll further develop in the future ^_^

Through this article:
http://www.dinside.no/815653/pulptunes-hor-musikken-din-overalt

Its in norwegian, but it praises the program, the cleanliness of the GUI and how easy it is to set up. Even though it is mainly positive, it puts a questionmark behind the fact that you can download songs and so on.. Downloading is a hot potato in norway these days with the tpb trial and all..

Stumbled across the website today! using google and I must say this program is sweeet! already telling my mates about it. great way to play music away from home or just to share with a mate. Just an idea but some kind of facebook application where u can get on ur music through that would be even more amazing! keep up the good work.

I found this glorious application while searching for a way to broadcast my iTunes library.  pulpTunes is amazing!  You should consider writing some phone apps for Android/iPhone.

Thanks for creating this software.

UrbanDaddy -- thank you for this excellent software.  I've tried so many different solutions and nothing is as seamless as pTunes.  Thanks.

I found pulptunes through a www.genbeta.com blog.

And I've been using it since this moment. Pulptunes is incredible! works really fine!

I vote for an android version! this would be great.

Thanks for creating this AMAZING soft

Googling in my case. After trying -- and being fed up with -- Simplify Media and Mojo, I was looking for another solution to stream my music outside my home network. pulpTunes rules !
