Pathname help for sharing library stored on unRAID NAS to pulpTunes on ubuntu

I am running Ubuntu 9.04.  PulpTunes is installed on the Ubuntu machine.
My iTunes library is stored on an unRAID NAS.  The location of the XML directory is //tower/disc1/iTunes.  The unRAID NAS is at 192.168.1.105.
I launch pulpTunes.
I am asked for the location of the xml library.  I enter, "//tower/disc1/iTunes" and "//192.168.1.105/disc1/iTunes"
PROBLEM: I get a message "please wait"  but nothing happens.  I close the application after ~10 minutes.

I think I am entering the wrong path.  What pathname should I enter?
Do I need to prepare the share in any way before listing the path?

I am an ubuntu/linux newbie.
