Mock ups for playlist-based access
« on: April 21, 2009, 10:26:50 PM »

This is what I have in mind. Let me know what you think.

P.S: This was done in 2 minutes with the fabulous Balsamiq Mockups software  ;)

Ooo brilliant. Yeah that layout looks fine, and I can't think of any other info you might need..

One question, what privileges will admin have, or will it literally just be the ability to add/change groups/accounts?

Also, is renaming songs, deleting etc in the pipeline, or even possible? Perhaps more options to allow this if/when it's implemented..?

Cheers for the update! :)

That's right, currently the admin is just like any other group, with the added ability to manage groups and users...  but this makes me realize I should automatically grant them full access, since they can anyway log in and do it themselves. So what I'll do is that if "Is Admin" is checked, the other two checkboxes would hide, and be replaced with an "Admin has full access" kind of note.

The idea is indeed to extend this to other permissions like you mention. But gotta wait for a future release 'cause I'm almost done with 1.1
