I am aware of the ability to download individual songs, but is it possible to get the entrie album?
surely its just linking to the folder the album is contained in. if not, consider it a feature request

Not possible right now, but a frequently requested feature that'll have to come in a future version. In the meantime, you can add all the album songs to iTunes DJ, and right-click on iTunes DJ to download them all.
