Hey,

I have installed pulptunes and everything, but when I try and go to the IP adress on my mac or any other computer, there's nothing there; it gives me one of those "Unable to Connect" messages. Any suggestions or answers?
Thanks

When pulptunes first starts it should tell you (unless you disabled the pop-up) if connections can be made outside the network. Are you trying to access pulptunes within your network? Have you opened up ports?

I'm Having the same problem the log says it can receive connections from the internet, but when I go to the ipaddress:15000, all i get is unable to connect. I've tried with port forwarding, no port forwarding, firewall on/off, i can even check the port, and its open. Still any time I try or have other people try, just says, cannot connect. Runing Windows XP, and have a Dlink DIR615 router. :(

Did you get this working? When you access your ip address locally you have to use your local address of the machine that is running pulptunes, unless of course you are using a service like NO-IP. Were you successful on access pulptunes outside your network?

localhost:15000 works just fine. It's only when i try (or get others to try) accessing the external IP that it fails. Yet, the port is open correctly on my router, and the pulp tunes log says its can be accessed externally. I tried a no-ip address, and still no luck. Even a different port yields the same thing.

I'm almost thinking its a router issue, but I've been through all the settings, turned settings on and off. I'm using just the windows firewall, but again, even with if off, still no luck.
