Automatic Refresh
« on: October 20, 2009, 08:45:49 AM »

Everyday when I come in to work, I find I have to jump on LogMeIn to quit and restart PulpTunes to reflect the most recent changes to my iTunes library. I think an automatic refresh of the iTunes database might not be a bad idea. If this functionality already exists and I missed it somehow, I apologize. This is just a suggestion for the next release. I really love this app, thank you very much for your hard work.

Thanks for your feedback :)
This is another frequent request I've been having. Can't make it for the very next version (1.2), but it's definitely in the priority list for what's coming after.

Cheers,
Alejandro

Any word on this? It's pretty much the only thing I'd change about the software (with one exception, which I'll start a new topic to address ;) ).

Check the xml every n minutes to see if the size (or maybe a checksum) changed and if so reload it with the new xml. Should be cake for you guys. :)
